FAQ

How do we get started?

To provide an accurate quote and begin shaping the sound for your project, we’ll need a few reference materials. These could include:
  1. A rough cut or locked picture with burned-in time code data
  2. A script, treatment, or storyboard
  3. Any initial creative notes or references
Here’s what the process looks like:
  1. Initial Contact – Reach out to us via email. We’ll review your materials and, if necessary, schedule a brief introductory call. Once the collaboration is confirmed, we’ll provide you with a Dropbox link where you can upload all your files.
  2. Creative Sync – We align on the vision, creative direction and timeline.
  3. Internal Planning – Our team maps out the workflow, assigns the right talent, and schedules delivery milestones.
  4. Project Launch – Once everything is aligned, we jump in and begin crafting your sonic world.

What files do we need from you?

To get started, we typically ask for:
  1. A downloadable video file (preferably .mov or .mp4)
  2. A synced AAF or OMF file with handles and correct timecode
  3. Creative notes or references, which can be sent via email or uploaded to our shared Dropbox folder.
  The more context you share, the better we can tailor the sound to your vision.

How do revisions work?

We use Dropbox Replay for reviews, allowing you to leave time-stamped feedback quickly and easily. Need a more personal touch? We’re happy to schedule a call with our Supervising Sound Editor to discuss your feedback directly.

What do the final deliveries include

We’ll provide you with a separate subfolder in our shared Dropbox Link containing all the deliverables you need, typically including:
  1. Final Mixes (in broadcast and web standard levels)
  2. Stems / Splits:
    1. Dialogue
    2. Voiceover
    3. Music
    4. Sound Effects
    5. Mix-minus VO / Mix-minus Music

What are your typical turnaround times?

We adapt to your schedule. Whether you’re working under tight pressure or planning far ahead.   We regularly handle:
  1. Fast Turnarounds: Same-day up to 48-hour delivery
  2. Standard Projects: 3–5 working days (including revisions)
  3. Flexible Deadlines: For more complex projects or tighter budgets
